When arriving at the Belize International Airport, you will meet your driver immediately as you exit the arrivals terminal door after you clear customs. This will be outside the building. As soon as you exit, look for the driver in a black Belize Ground Shuttle polo shirt holding a sign with your name.

There may be a lot of shuttle drivers out there picking up other customers. Make sure your driver is actually from Belize Ground Shuttle. Look for our logo.

If you don't locate the driver immediately, you should wait by the benches immediately to your right as you exit the building. Your driver will find you. Don't worry, we will not leave without you. You can always message us via email or facebook.

We offer this service as an additional fee. You must pay the optional fee for this service. Otherwise, you will be dropped off or picked up at Hode's Place. If you have reserved your ride without this option, you can contact us to add it to your reservation.

Your shuttle departs San Ignacio town from Hode's Place near downtown San Ignacio. You should be at Hode's at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time.

If you have paid the extra hotel pickup option, you will be picked up at your hotel.

We service hotels only within town limits. If you are not sure, please message us via email or facebook to check if we offer service to your hotel. Generally, we can pickup and drop off at hotels as far as Kaana Resort toward the western border, as far as Casa del Caballo Blanco along the Bullet Treee Road, and Maya Mountain Lodge along the Cristo Rey Road. 

We understand that you are not familiar with the geographic location, so we are happy to verify your hotel location to determine if we can offer service to your hotel.

Since we are a shared shuttle service we require or passengers who select the in town hotel pick-up/drop-off option to be ready 20 minutes prior to the departure time. For our passengers whose hotel are out of town we require them to be ready 30-45 minutes prior to the departure time depending on hotel location.

We have a no refund cancellation policy.

This is at your discretion. Many downtown area hotels are within walking distance, or it may cost less to use a local taxi. We offer pickup and dropoff service for convenience, but it may not be necessary if your hotel is very close. For example, if your hotel is along Burns Avenue, you can walk to or from Hode's. If you are staying at Hode's Hotel or Midas Hotel, you don't need to pay the additional hotel fee.

If you are unsure, please contact us. You can also pay the additional fee to the driver.

We do NOT accept cash payment, for yours and the driver's safety and security. Our drivers do not carry change, and cannot take cash payments. However, our drivers can accept credit card payments via our Belizing Payments mobile app. You can safely and securely pay for any additional service using your credit card.

We recommend booking your shuttle as soon as possible to ensure that your spot is reserved. Reservations are recommended but not required. We recommend booking at least one day before your travel, and earlier if possible. For advance bookings, we require at least 6 to 8 hours advance notice for your booking time. If your booking is received less than 8 hours in advance, you may be rebooked on the next earliest available shuttle or we may need to cancel. All advance bookings must be paid in full. Passengers can also purchase tickets onboard with the driver. We accept all forms of credit card payment through our secure payment service.

If your flight is delayed or cancelled, we will reschedule you to the next available shuttle. If there is a delay of less than one hour, the driver will wait if possible.

If there are other passengers in the shuttle, we may not always be able to wait. If there are no other passengers in your shuttle, we will wait as long as it takes for your flight to arrive. We cannot guarantee that we can wait or reschedule you, but we will always do our best. We will never leave you stranded.

Please communicate with us as soon as you are aware of any delays or cancellations.

Our scheduled arrival times into the airport are accurate. We schedule our arrival from San Ignacio 2 hours after our departure, though it takes closer to an hour and 45 minutes. Our scheduled arrival time to the airport from Placencia/Hopkins is scheduled for 3 hours. However, there are things during the route we cannot always control like traffic, road work, accidents etc. We recommend you give yourself enough time based on your itinerary and airline requirements.
