Other Notes
Life in the jungle—its perks and its (slightly) wild side:
We live in the jungle—and we love it! The house is fully protected by mosquito screens, but we’re right in the middle of nature—a gecko or a curious insect passing by might just remind you of that. A few simple habits are all it takes to fully enjoy the jungle: watch your step at night, turn on the light before going outside, and wear sandals in the garden. That’s really all it takes—then just enjoy the show!
Your neighbors in the garden:
Iguanas, agoutis, coatis, foxes, parrots, hummingbirds, toucans… and many more regularly cross the garden—because, honestly, we’re the ones living in their home. Every morning brings a new surprise. Keep your eyes peeled—it’s better than any nature documentary!
The house is perfectly maintained, secure, and clean. A first-aid kit is available on-site, and we can always be reached by text message. We simply ask that you please close the doors and windows when you go out—and soak up the magic of the real Belize.
